Tricky Dodges
A small game created for the WGJ53 with the theme "One Hit".
The goal is to fill your energy bar while avoiding attacks.
The enemies can collect the energy items too and fill their color of the bar (blue).
So try to make sure you don't let an energy item be taken by an enemy!
There are several levels and 4 ranges of levels.
The first level is a TUTORIAL, with only 2 cells in the grid.
Then you have TIER 1, TIER2, and TIER 3 with respectively 4, 6 and 8 cells.
You can moves with the arrow keys or the mouse.
You die in ONE HIT! So avoid the enemies at all cost!
The game can be played on Windows, in your favorite browser supporting it and maybe on Android (not tested but present).

Hey Alariann,
This is a very good game!
Next step for you dude is just baking some more levels and maybe add some different enemies that can interfere with our rounded square. Dare I say a baddie that can roam the middle areas that you have to avoid. Yes...I am evil.
Maybe create a longer musical loop as well. After about 10 minutes, its gets a little repetitive haha.

About the music, yes indeed it's pretty short. I worked a lot on it and at the end I noticed it was really short! And I wasn't really happy with it in the first place. I am trying to improve anyway on this and create new, better musics. Maybe a quick fix would be to start with only one instrument playing the melody on the first stage, and depending on the difficulty tier it would play another instrument on top. Not sure.
For the enemies, I was thinking about adding new ones, I didn't know yet what I should add. Having an enemy in the middle area is a good idea, I will think about it.

Yes, now that you have to get stars, I can't pass tier 1, its hard not to die if I try to get the star. but that just my opinion.
Yes indeed, I personally couldn't go to level 2 reliably haha!
I am making some changes to make it more manageable. There are 4 tiers, first one is the tutorial with only 2 cells, then you have 4, 6 and 8.
I am trying to find a balance for the difficulty. And yes you have to make a choice between getting the items to fill the bar and not go because you might die, but the bar empties itself.
