Hi everyone!
Today I uploaded a first playable prototype. It can be played on Android (apk), on Windows (exe), and in your favorite browser (html5).
Things to improve for now (feel free to add suggestions in the comments! :)):
- visuals + sounds when player in critical state (one heart only)
- game over animation and fade-in/fade/out transition to title screen instead of instant change of scene
- make it clear for the player that something happens after killing a boss:
- open one cage to free one or more characters after each boss drops a key
- idea: each freed character could help the player? You could then choose the character you want to free before the next boss fight...
- show changes on the cage visual after each boss killed or after "attacking" it

- avoid heart farming:
- make the bosses go towards the player after some time / after a certain distance
- create icons for the game
